The Calypso-BTClawACH59 is a beautifully proportioned 59" French Bateau-style bathtub that blends classic elegance with modern durability. While it is a wide tub, its 59" length provides approximately 39" of floor legroom—a respectable size for a compact bateau, offering a deep, satisfying soak in smaller spaces.

The French Bateau is an exceptionally popular shape, admired for its gentle, sensual lines and balanced, symmetrical profile. This version pairs a bright white high-gloss acrylic interior with an Aged Chrome - Pewter Tone exterior.

Aged Chrome - Pewter Tone Exterior: Our aged chrome exterior now features a subtly brighter, pewter-influenced tone while maintaining its highly realistic metal look. Each tub undergoes a meticulous five-step finishing process beginning with specialized primers, followed by a metallic liquid coating that contains 40% nickel particles. This high-nickel application is what creates the authentic, luminous chrome effect—without the weight or maintenance concerns of real metal. A final high-gloss spray enhances depth and sheen, and three coats of premium clear lacquer are applied to seal and protect the finish for long-lasting durability.

Crafted from high-grade, stain-, bacteria-, and scratch-resistant acrylic, the tub also features a high-gloss, easy-clean, slip-resistant floor for added safety and hygiene.

The structure is built using CoreAcryl technology, combining fiberglass and resin reinforcement, an internal aluminum sheet layer, and a narrow insulating air gap for strength and thermal performance. The reinforced base is weight-tested to 1100 lbs for stable, long-term use.
