1. Operating Instructions

  • To Activate Blower: Press the button marked AIR on your remote control to turn the air blower system on or off.

  • Standard Air-Jetted Models: Use the dedicated UP and DOWN arrow buttons on the remote control to increase or decrease air bubble intensity.

  • Advanced Hydro-Spa Systems: The speed adjustment is controlled via a single button. Press and hold the button to cycle through speed settings, and release it when the desired intensity is reached.

2. Comfort & Temperature Optimization

SanSiro air blowers are installed directly within the cavity walls of the bathtub. This short distance prevents air from losing heat while traveling down the air lines.

  • Pre-Heating Recommendation: Switch the air blower on while filling the tub. It takes approximately 2 minutes of continuous operation for the heat generated by the motor to raise bubble air temperature to a comfortable 105°F (40°C).

  • Safe Dry Operation: The air blower system can safely be operated without water in the tub for testing or pre-heating purposes without causing damage.

  • Skin Surface Sensation: Due to thermodynamics and evaporation physics, air bubbles bursting open against wet skin may still feel slightly cool, even when the air stream is warm.

3. Hygiene & Self-Cleaning Features

SanSiro air systems are built with multi-stage hygienic safeguards to keep internal components clean and dry:

  • Non-Return Jet Valves: Each air injector jet features an integrated non-return valve that physically prevents bathwater from flowing back into the internal air lines.

  • Ozone Sanitization (O₃) [Select Models]: When active, the system draws Ozone into the air lines to neutralize bacteria. A faint scent—similar to fresh air after a thunderstorm—is normal during ozone operation.

  • Automated Purge Cycle: An automatic drying cycle clears residual moisture from the air lines after every use.

4. Automatic Purge Cycle Operation

IMPORTANT SAFETY & MAINTENANCE NOTE: The air blower will automatically activate 20 minutes after deactivation. This is normal automated self-cleaning and maintenance—not a system malfunction.

  • Purge Schedule: Exactly 20 minutes after turning off the system, the blower will automatically start and run for 2 minutes to purge moisture and dry internal lines.

  • Handling Interruptions: If you press the power button during the 2-minute purge, the system will shut off but will reset its timer and start a new 2-minute purge 20 minutes later.

  • Best Practice: Allow the 2-minute purge cycle to finish completely uninterrupted so the system can properly shut down and remain hygienic.
