Looking for a special tub? My daughter wanted the “perfect” tub to replace her bathroom’s flimsy shower stall. We looked all over for the best tub, the best value, and the right size. It had to fit between a pony wall, and correct width to allow bathroom door to fully open. Baths of Distinction (BD) had the perfect size: 59” long x 28” wide (BD has a wide range of sizes and styles if you want larger or different). We got the full kit which included faucet and drain components. An ambitious and experienced DIYer can install this kit (we did) or hire a professional. Long story short: the tub is exceptional: the heaviest “non-cast iron” tub we found (about 140 pounds), which holds water temperature well with its thick, insulated construction. We got the polished nickel fixture finish but chrome and satin would be stunning as well. The tub arrived about 10 days after ordering and was packed perfectly and arrived without any damage whatsoever to the shipping box, tub or equipment. And shipping was included BTW within the very reasonable tub package price. We did have one minor hardware hiccup with wrong size clawfoot supports which BD rectified in a day with air shipment of the correct supports. Easy and responsive customer service. If it’s tub time for you, BD should be your first and last stop!
