USA Finishing and Inspection

All Jetted Bathtubs—including water, air, and hydro-spa models—are assembled in the USA under controlled conditions. In addition, every tub, including non-jetted soakers, undergoes final surface finishing and quality inspection prior to shipping.
Addressing Overflow Integrity and Surface Finishing at the Final Stage
Through years of direct import and feedback from professional installers and builders, we identified two recurring quality concerns with modern factory-supplied acrylic bathtubs: inconsistent surface finishing and leak-prone integrated overflow assemblies.
While we maintain on-site quality control personnel overseas, we recognize inherent limitations in many factory environments. Assembly-line workers are often incentivized on output volume rather than quality, and inspection protocols may be limited to visual surface checks rather than functional testing. As a result, issues such as poor surface finishing and poor bonding in the overflow channel frequently go undetected until installation—when repairs become more difficult and costly.
To mitigate these risks, we implemented a U.S.-based final inspection and testing program six years ago at our Florida facility. This includes:
Final-stage Surface Finishing
Each unit undergoes manual inspection, followed by precision buffing and polishing of all exposed acrylic surfaces to correct any factory blemishes or haze, ensuring a uniform gloss level and finish.
Hydrostatic Overflow Testing
All integrated overflow assemblies are subjected to controlled water-pressure testing using a sealed channel fill system. This simulates in-use conditions and allows us to detect even low-rate seepage or incomplete seals.
Overflow Repair & Retrofit Protocols
If a defect is found, we apply one of several proprietary repair methods, including mechanical resealing, full overflow rebuild, or in severe cases, complete overflow channel replacement with upgraded fittings and bonding agents.
Dense Foam Insulation – Thermal Efficiency and Structural Integrity
All modern soaker bathtubs featuring a cavity between the inner and outer shells are fully insulated with dense, closed-cell polyurethane foam at our U.S. facility. This insulation enhances thermal retention, reduces noise transfer, and contributes to a more solid, substantial feel.
We also apply foam insulation to our jetted and hydrotherapy tubs, wherever integrated equipment positioning allows. The application process is carefully managed to avoid obstruction of serviceable components or potential interference with pump ventilation.
For bathtubs with deck space intended for possible faucet mounting, we offer flexibility. Before completing the insulation process, we confirm with the client whether a deck-mounted faucet will be installed. If so, we leave the designated deck area unfoamed to allow for plumbing access and ease of installation on site.
These steps ensure each bathtub is delivered not only cosmetically flawless but mechanically sound, minimizing site delays, callbacks, and installer frustration. Certified leak-free and finish-inspected, each unit is installation-ready upon delivery.
